a couple of my fave softball quotes are...
~Before you ask me why my legs are bruised, my knees are scared and my nails are broken. Realize I hit the drop ball, take the shot at home plate and swing for the fence.
~Never under-estimate the opponent that appears weaker than you, and never fear the opponent that appears stronger than you.
~Leave the field knowing that you gave it your all and still lost, rather than leaving the field and thinking what if.
~Play for your team, not for yourself. Try your best, put your heart into it no matter what. It's all in your head, so just think. Softball isn't about you, it's about your team.
~Play like you mean it, you may not get a second chance to show them what your made of
